Want to speed up your cooking time and save energy at the same time? With Fagor's Duo pressure cooker, you can do both. By using this pressure cooker to prepare anything from risotto to roasts to savory stews, you'll reduce your cooking time by one-third and your energy use by 70 percent! A pressure cooker is a wonderful resource for canning and simmering stocks, too. The spring-type mechanism in a dial format can be moved from one setting to another without changing valves: high (15 psi) and low (8 psi). Unlike pressure cookers of the past, you'll never experience noisy steam escaping or mushy food. Most important is that you can cook high-fiber, low-fat foods in record time while preserving essential vitamins and nutrients - and conserving energy, too! The 18/10 stainless surface won't interact with food. The duo pressure cooker has a triple-safety mechanism and pressure control valves plus two independent over-pressure release valves. The handle has a safety lock. The pressure cooker comes with a steamer basket, trivet and recipe book.
